The route
Palm Beach Skyway

Route Considerations
Several factors were taken into consideration when choosing the proper route for the Palm Beach Skyway:
- What is the straight and direct path — one limitation of ACT is that it doesn’t “curve” very well.
- Rights of way — who needs to provide approval?
- Obstacles in the path — ACT can go over or under obstacles, but needs proper clearance.
- Station locations—constituents’ accessibility to the Palm Beach Skyway.
- What is the cost of the route? And the needed stations/connectors?
- What is the peak hourly passenger carrying capacity required for the route?
The route shown in this presentation seems like a logical approach. A more detailed study will be needed to determine the exact route and the feasibility analysis of each factor. Another potential route could be east from Lightspeed along Belvedere to US 1, then north to the West Palm Beach Brightline Station.

PBAT may solicit the involvement of these specific products and manufacturers once the feasibility and technical analysis of the needs of Palm Beach Skyway are determined.“
