Anderson retail: Clemson Boulevard corridor

Anderson is located in the Upstate of South Carolina on the Interstate 85 corridor between Charlotte and Atlanta. Now known as the “Electric City”, Anderson got its name from sparking the Industrial Revolution in the South with the first long-distance transmission of hydroelectric power. Since then, Anderson has grown to become home to a number of industries including automotive, biosciences, energy, sustainable agriculture, utilities, and more as well as earned itself a place on the “Hottest American cities for business location”.

The City is comprised of three major retail sectors including Clemson Boulevard, Downtown, and Highway 81. Clemson Boulevard is known as Anderson’s retail center as it is home to several power centers as well as numerous national retailers and restaurants including Target, Sam’s Club, Walmart, Kohl’s, HomeGoods, Dick’s Sporting Goods, The Home Depot, Academy Sports + Outdoors and more.
