Disney Resort Cable Car | Orlando, Florida

The Disney Skyliner connects four Walt Disney World Resort hotels to Epcot Center and the Art of Animation Resort. The line is made up of 300 cable cars that travel between five stations. The cars are branded with Images of various Disney characters and audio specific to each route plays within the cars as passengers travel to their destinations.

Portland Aerial Tram | Portland Oregon

Established 2007 As a connector in TriMet's regional transit system, the aerial cableway has transported over 25 million passengers and was the catalyst for redevelopment of the South Riverfront business district. Connected to rail, bus and bicycle network, it provides ongoing mobility and accessibility to the Oregon Health Sciences complex of 10 area hospitals.

Mi Teleferico Urban Cable Car | La Paz, Bolivia

World Record! The La Paz aerial cable car system is one of the largest public transit systems in the world! At over 50 million riders per year, this one Cable Car system transports more than twice the riders of Metrorail, Metromover and Tri-Rail combined! It has 35 stations, 12 lines and over 25 miles of aerial cable service. Four additional lines are planned in the next 2 years.

IFS Cloud Cable Car | London, England

Established 2012

The IFS Cloud Cable Car runs across the River Thames and connects two subway and bus lines as part of the Metro London transit system. Emirates Airways secured the gondola branding rights for $55 million over a 10-year period, which helped finance the system cost. Additional tourism revenues pay for most of the MetroCable's annual O&M costs.

CableBus Urban Cable Car | Mexico City, Mexico

Established 2021

The newest MetroCable rapid transit in the world links to the Mexico City Metro system and features 682 ten passenger cabins travelling 12 miles between 13 stations. Mexico City has a dense population with restricted rights of way; the MetroCable was conceived to overcome these restrictions and deliver millions of commuters to the Metro system's subway and bus stations. Line 3 scheduled to open in 2023.
